Makaton For... Workshops
These 3-hour workshops enhance Makaton skills with everyday and bespoke vocabulary tailored to specific frontline roles. Each workshop includes 36 foundational concepts plus 46 role-specific signs:
- Emergency Services: Makaton for crisis and high-pressure scenarios.
- Urgent & Emergency Care: Makaton to reduce anxiety and confusion for the people you support.
- General Wellbeing: Supporting discussions on mental health, feelings, and wishes.
- Learning Disabilities Team: Improving understanding and reducing anxiety in appointments.
- Dentistry: Enhancing communication and easing anxiety in dental settings.
- Nursing Team: Promoting effective communication and reducing stress in medical environments.
- Early Years: Support early communication and language development creating an inclusive setting that supports every child’s communication. For those working with young children.
Each workshop promotes inclusion and awareness and can be delivered online and in-person.
